Original caption: 10/26/1939-Los Angeles, CA- Henry Armstrong, welterweight boxing champion, closes his eyes as he gets away fron a right hook thrown at him by Jimmy Garrison of Kansas City, during their recent bout in the Olympic Auditorium. Henry held onto his title, managing to get the decision after going ten rounds with the aggressive Garrison.
